bamboo shoots

We love eating bamboo shoots in May and to do that, we have to dig and peel layers. After peeling 6kg of them, we boiled them with rice bran for about 30 minutes. Let them leave in the pot for a night so that they will be tender. 

I am already thinking about bamboo shoots speciality for tomorrow dinner.
